Rural and Urban areas are based on the density of population, amenities, employment, development, education, opportunities, etc. The human settlement is majorly cut into two different categories i.e. Urban and Rural. Urban is a human settlement where the rates of industrialisation and urbanisation is on the high.
In the next breath in a rural settlement, is one where the rate of growing urbanisation is quite slow.
An important difference between the urban and rural areas is that urban areas are highly populated and rural areas have comparatively less population than the urban ones.
What ive learned to understand that these two human settlements are extremely different, especially regarding the density of human structures and the residents to that area. The standard of living in an urban area is higher compared to the rural areas. At the moment, the maxium part of the total population live in the urban areas, also the total land area occupied by the urban region is a lot greater than the rural areas.
